i have the opportunity to paddle a Dagger Cascade but the kilt that comes with the boat wont stretch ... or atleast i cant get it to stretch over the rim ... any ideas on how to stretch the kilt? i know at 1 time it fit cuz it has been on the Ocoee ... the last time the cascade was in the water tho was about 3-4 years ago

Sounds like your deck has reached the end of its life if the neo has lost its stretch, you could try soaking it in a bucket of hot water, then stretching the deck on with the help of a second person and leaving it for as long as you can.

Neoprene shrinks with age because nitrogen slowly escapes from the bubbles. But the reason a particular skirt won't fit a particular boat has more to do with the bungee or rand. I also wonder whether your skirt ever actually fit the Cascade.

Anyway, there are still outfits that will make a skirt that fits.
