Of the 3 solo Probes, the Probe 12 is the most popular. This is a boat that most entry level paddlers can start out with, but not grow out of. Its 28" beam at the 4" waterline make it quick to accelerate. The flair at the center section give it a tremendous amount of secondary stability that Probe paddlers love. The Probe 12 , as all other Probes have symmetrical rocker, this feature makes ferrying, eddyturns and peelouts very predictable. This, along with the flared sides instills a lot of confidence while leaning the canoe.
