Higher volume-good for tripping, creeking, and cruising for the larger paddler.

Stable river-runner and creek boat. Great for the larger paddler, smaller paddlers often feel it's "too much boat". Also a good beginner boat-very stable, and if you can keep it going in a straight line other boats shouldn't be a problem! From W. Ashbrook: I once vowed I would never sell my Dagger Cascade C1. The boat is simply the best thing I've ever paddled in difficult water. It is table, predictable, comfortable and rolls easily. But, I have since purchased a Robson Finkenmeister, and the Fink and I are getting along. Now I am out of room in my garage. The Cascade would be an excellent boat for 1) the beginner C1er because of its stability, predictability and comfort, or 2) the C1er who wants to try more difficult water. Trying the C1 experience in a converted low volume K1 (eg: Dagger Kingpin) is bound to be a discouraging trial. The Cascade would give you a good chance to enjoy C1ing and progress as a C1er.
