Re: Paddle Tape ?
So far, I've got to say the splicing tape has worked the best...for grip, thickness & durability. Both the PVC in Heavy Duty & Shrink Wrap tapes work OK. Didn't try the Hockey tape...may offer too much of a grip & then there is the residue issue. Thanks for the recommendations. Cheers!

Re: FS ; 16' Dagger Legend Tandem Canoe - Red
Boat is Sold! A trip to ALF for me would have been a Win, Win...Win! But the expense of the trip would have negated much of what I had hoped to gain by selling the boat. Have fun @ the fest & maybe next year for Me. Cheers...

Re: FS ; 16' Dagger Legend Tandem Canoe - Red
I'm located in CT & cannot attend ALF(although I really want to). I will ask around to see if anyone I know is headed that way & can give that boat a ride. The only paddler that I know that has been to ALF(3 times), is hitting the Grand Canyon this Year instead. Who am I to argue. Regards...

Re: Paddle Tape ?
I tried wrap on that paddle for a few different reasons. Protection & grip. That paddle has a slick finish that I roughed up a bit, but was still slippery. I find a wrap also helps some with finding the right spot when things get 'interesting'. Kind of like index points(?) That shaft was also quite ...

Re: Paddle Tape ?
I used the plumbing tape that sticks to It's self & It works great...until it gets cut(Wrap-Fix). The residue is what I'm worried about with the hockey tape. Some of my paddles don't need any wrap. I'll give the wax a shot. Thanks...

Paddle Tape ?
Kind of a rookie question from someone who is 'not a rookie'. Has anyone used hockey tape for their paddle shaft/ If so, what are Your thoughts? I still have not found the perfect wrap without some flaw. Have fun out there!

Selling Boat Best Practices?
May be selling a boat(?). What are the customary steps to follow? I've either given boats away, loaned them or sold them to; friends, family or acquaintances. This would be a sight unseen for both parties & moving a boat from East Coast to (nearly)West Coast. Any advice would be great. Regards...

Re: This question hasn't been asked LATELY
Just to reaffirm; Mitchell, Echo & Werner. The 1st 2 were able to 'adjust' flex for Me, somewhat. I do like the Norse Paddle look & specs...I'm just not in the market now. This stick looks interesting as well, but again zero experience on my part. http://www.paddlesandoars.com/PADDLES/CANYON-X-CANOE...
