ZRE

ZRE Power Curve @ 22oz. I broke several “T” grips before they figured out what the problem was, and I’m on the second blade as I wore the first one out. The only thing original is the shaft. If I snap it in two tomorrow I will be on the phone ordering another one. Yeah, you can break anything if you...

Fish much.

I thought it was the funniest $H!T I have read in years. Well - weeks anyway. The guy who wrote the article must be an open boater. Some of you may need to pull the hook out of your mouth.

Pentax Optio W30

I have owned two Pentax Optio W30s. They make a fine fish sinker. The fact that they fill with water makes them even better sinkers. Hunk of junk IMHO. I am not sure what I will be buying next, but It will have a viewfinder and use AAs or AAAs.

The X

I have a tandem outfitted X that the wife and I paddle some and I love it as a tandem boat.
The X can be ordered from the factory with three position outfiting and it works quite well.

Some others I've never used.

1 Paddle snake took the paddle out of my hand. 2 Didn’t have my nose clips on and filled my sinus cavities with creek water. 3 Fish hit me in the eye. 4 My helmet was loose and it jerked me out of the boat like it was a sea anchor 5 That was the 4th time I tried to roll up in that hole. How long do ...

ZRE

Let me confess right up front - I’m a representative for Zaveral Racing Equipment and as such I have a built in bias - but - every time I hand my ZRE Power Curve whitewater paddle to fellow paddlers on the creek, they instantly develop a case of paddle envy. At 22 oz, the paddles are built out of ca...

Ozarks

Paul, I live in Dover AR which is north of Russellville on highway 7 in the beautiful Ozarks, although I do go to the Ouachita mts also. We have just started getting some rain here and I got to paddle Big Piney Creek last Saturday. The water was good, the fall foliage was spectacular and the air tem...

Thanks

Thanks for the info guys. I should have thought about the XXX. My son all but gave one away a couple of months ago. I may need to find out where it went and look at how hard it would be to get my big butt in it.

Plastic Squirt boats?

I have never been in a squirt boat and know less than nothing about squirt boats - but - it does look like a lot of fun. Who makes a plastic C1 squirt boat? The water I paddle around here would make sure a composite boat has a very short lifetime. I’m 6' tall 210 pounds with size 11.5 feet and paddl...
