Astral Green vest: the "O" ring slides freely on the belt, which runs through 1" webbing "loops" in the rear (spaced 10" apart- more towards the sides really than on the back) secured to the vest...yes, the ring has room to slide (10" worth), but I've never had that be an issue in a tethered swim ...
