I also had to get the rest of the room packed up and put downstairs in storage in order to vacate the room. I started working on Saturdays trip report ...

What were thinking of running ? We chose the Salmon as 1st destination since most paddlers in our group will be r...

Re: MACKfest
The "Barney boat" and I are laid up, as I can't paddle until my knee heals. Lousy timing, but at least I made ALF. And that is why I am borrowing Geoff's Nitro. Geoff told me his boat had to run everything so don't be alarmed when you see it go down a drop without me in the boat. I will play catche...

OK ... I just looked at my electrical code manual (Ontario, Canada) which has lots of wiring diagrams for just about anything. In the case of a house and say a light. The breaker is our fuse. The switch goes between the breaker and the light on the black hot (positive) side. The other side of the li...

then out of the pump to the on off switch and finally form the switch to the neg terminal on the batt. . This configuration causes a 12 volt voltage drop across the pump before going to the switch. So if I am reading this right your putting the switch between the negative terminal of the battery an...

Re: Come on and rack up another border crossing!
Come on down! Its a pretty wide open run, but a smaller boat will be more fun IMHO. OK ... it will be one hades of a drive again roughly 500 miles or 800 km from my my place. Long way to drive for 2 days of paddling but this would give me a chance to pick up a 60oz bottle on the way back for my ste...

Where the heck is this event taking place (be specific)? Will I have fun in a 14 foot open boat or maybe in Keez Nitro if he lets me borrow it? Will it be great for taking pictures? Should I go on another road trip? Will Crunchy be there? Will I learn as many things as I learned at ALF 2008? Please ...
