Just like to offically say hello

Some of you on this board already know me quite well from paddling together or my posts on another board. For those of you that don't my name is Colin and I am an open boater (sounds like a AA meeting). I love to take pictures of my fellow paddlers and write trip reports and share them with everyone...

Me too, but I don't have a problem with them wearing out. Maybe it's because I use toe cups instead of foot pegs? Eventually they wear out somewhere, but they last me a few seasons for sure, maybe 5 or more, and they're pretty cheap. For me, I find they're a good balance of warm, supportive, soft, ...

Question - what do open boaters wear on their feet.

I have been wearing neoprene booties but they tend not to last that long due to the wearing out line on the bottom from the foot pegs.

Any suggestions?

The rest of the pictures

Well since Dan posted a direct link to some of the pics here is the trip report from that day with a link to the rest of the pics I took. Water Level: Almost 8.8 and temperature was -4C Here is the short version: We paddled … had fun … got cold and went to Tim Horton’s for a hot chocolate to warm up...

Well here is my opinion on the subject. It took me about 8 months to decided whether I was going to install them or not. After some advice from paddling buddies I resepect ...
