Re: Esquif L'edge lite

The L'edge is the most stable boat I've ever owned under 13'. What I appreciate as well is the design stability hasn't compromised much in speed or maneuverability, especially for a boat this length. A few world class boaters went in on the design of the L'edge... I also feel that those of larger st...

Re: Dry land rolling practice

Another good video instruction by Dr Phil.

You know, Phil's a great guy... but if I saw that guy hangin' 'round a playground like that 'round dusk, I'd probably call the cops.

Re: Gunnel repair

A picture would really help with advice/prognosis. Depending on the thickness of the outwale, location of damage, gunwale material, etc. you may have a more simple fix

FS: Decked L'edge near Knoxville

Jim Little is trying to liquidate his L'edge. Decked, red, been used one half of a day... seriously.

I think he's looking for $1,300.00 which is a steal of a deal for a new boat.

Let me know if you're interested or contact Jim directly if you know him.

Everything ez said. 20 years boating, never taken my bags out for traveling, never had a bag blow out as a result.

Just my experience.

If your glue work is really solid a flexible flush-cut saw works great

Can't wait for their tougher, carbon fiber/vinyl skin for their ABS boats... looks hot

Re: Bulkhead mods for water bottle

Get a piece of pvc or other tube, sharpen the edges at one end, spray a little wd40 on it, twist it in, dig it out. It's a snap.

I have about 10 different sizes from 3/4" to 3 1/4" of pvc or copper tube. I'll usually drill a hole at the unsharpened in to put a t-handle on just to make it easier.

No pumps...

... unless they're made of wood, and run off a potato battery.

Better?
