I have an Esquif Detonator and its great. I have had some female friends paddle it and they were fine in it. I would say that its not the best boat to learn in. Really edgy and requires some commitment to the boat. The Esquif Paradigm is a great boat too. I know a lady (about her size) that paddles ...

Beluga Appaloosa Saddle for C-1

Hey All,

Does anyone have any experience with using a Beluga Appaloosa Saddle in a C-1? I was looking at it and thinking it would be a good addition to a C-1. Any thoughts?

On the move to the Springs

Hey there, I am moving from Fort Collins Colorado to Colorado Springs. I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the paddling community there (if any). I know its closer to Salida and BV, but I was wondering about closer places to paddle and how many boaters (kayak and canoers) are in the area.....

I'm 29. I started paddling in my 20's at school. Got into OC1 this year (finally). I am paddling a Detonator, or the banana boat as its gets called here.

AJ,

I am from Fort Collins and I got an Esquif here, but that store is out of business. The closest dealer that I know of is in Oregon. Let me know if you find out otherwise.

Weekend River trips in Colorado

Hey all, I want to do a weekend river trip in mid October in Colorado. I live in Northern Colorado and would like to do a class III'ish river. I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me some places to look at. I was thinking the Colorado. What about the Green or anything in southern Wyoming?...

Pyranha S6F C1

I converted a Pyranha S6F to a C1. The boat comes with a skirt and all the original kayaking outfitting. The boat surfs great. Asking $400.00

Heres my idea for a fix (and yes I have a job, but I am repaying my student loans, so even worse). Sit in you kayak, mark out areas with a Sharpie where you could put knee and tow pads. If the knee cups won't effect your legs paddling, then I would glue them in (the last thing you want is to have th...

That would be hard and it will be hard to have any good knee cups and toe/feet pads (which I find necessary).
