Ya know for some reason I always thought the handle stood for "Horizon Girl Fox". hahaa. One question, shouldn't that thrust schnozzle point out da back like a jetski insteada out da front like a water fountain boy? Great outfitting job. I want one in PE.

Quico, Who are you to tell someone else they should not do something? If I told you should not run a rapid I did not think you could handle would you do as you please? Instead we make choices of our own choosing. I have taken off rivers because I did not feel paddling with them in those conditions f...

Hmmm
wavesport had a multitude of tricolored boats in the late 80's and 90's. Many were red, whate, and blue. This scheme showed up on most of their models Godzillas, X, XXX, Y.

Fuschia
I had an old fuschia Encore as my first white water canoe. It pissed all the stalwart ex-military Colonels off. They were threated and asked numerous times, "Why didn't you get a red canoe?" I would answer them in my best lisp and a slightly bent wrist "Why, don't chew like my pink canoe?" You have ...

Dude
Paddling class III/IV is more a staple of paddling ability. Virtually and C-1 could run that degree of difficulty. A good starter for you be something bigger like an old Cascade. It is easy to roll, afords the same stability as the open boats, and can grow with you up to IV+. Any decent creek boat w...

Yep
You would need at least 50 sales to justify the cost of an aluminum mold. Then you would have to hope to find one of those cheap Savage ovens. Anyway, lets hope the advice works. It would be a shame to kill your first mold with too much heat before you finish running the first five boats. Good luck.

Hey man
Congratulations. How long do you think your composit mold will hold up baking plastic? I was always told you might get 10 boats then you will have to make another. I always wondered if corbon in the mold and extra layers would make the mold more durable. Jezz thats a lot of expense. I wish you luck ...

Nice historical view Charlie. I hear you have a Hahn student out there with you. Too bad you couldn't turn him on to that Selway I gave you a long time ago.

The best boof I was ever paddled for
It was early in my paddling career. I was paddling solo for the first time in my life. I felt strong but just a bit on edge. The canoe I was in was not much more than a squirt boat, and I found myself at the top of the steepest creek I had been on to date. The eddy at the top was durbulent, mushroom...
