CR 250 C1
My main C1 is a CR250. I weight about 205 lbs. Started out in an Atom. The CR250 is much slower than an Atom but is very stable, a great surfing boat and more forgiving. I have also used the CR250 for some easy creek runs but recently bought a Jefe Grande for creeking.

Saddle Location
I am 6 feet tall and weigh about 200 lbs. The 3" foam backrest is located 1 inch from the cockpit rim on my Cascade and I feel it is trimmed pretty well. However, trim is a personal preference so I would place the saddle where the boat handles the way you want it to handle. I have never paid attenti...

Upper Green Race
It was October 20th. I do not believe it was a big turn out. I believe I was the winner of the C1 class. I was there at the beginning of the race with six other boaters. The person that set it up(Patrick) planned to time boaters as they showed up so the race may have continued for an hour or so. Sin...

Liquid Logic CR250 as C1
I am 6' about 200 lbs and wondering how the CR250 would perform as a C1. Looking for a river running C1 with more play than an Atom.
Thanks

2002 late July-early August
We ran it with raft support from Boundary Creek. I believe it was about 1.9 feet when we launched. Had about 13 people in kayaks and canoes and 5 people were rowing the 5 rafts and cats we had for support. First couple of days we had to help the rafts get off rocks a few times but once down to India...

OC1 and C1 Roll
When I started rolling a C1 after having an OC1 roll I noticed I had to delay bringing my head up longer in the C1. I now have issues switching between them since I believe the OC1 roll is a slower roll where the C1 has a much faster snap. I roll an Outrage and an Atom, I feel better form is requiur...

Session+
After reading the replies I was focusing on a Big or Super EZ but I have found a Session+ for a good price. My concern is the 24.4" width over the 26" to 27" width of the EZs. At 200 lbs will the Session+ be a lot more unstable than the EZs?

Play Full C1 Conversions?
I have only paddled an Atom and Cascade but tried out a Mr. Clean conversion at the pool this week. It was a very play full boat, easy to start bow stalls and with practice I thought I could get it to do bow stalls and even cartwheels. So I am now seeking advice on kayaks to convert that are more pl...

Rolling
Phil, UNCA and the Asheville YMCA both have evenings open for rolling. I believe YMCA is on Friday nights and UNCA is on Wednesday or Thursday nights. I live near the Asheville Airport but I go down to Spartanburg on Wednesday night to roll. If you want more information on it let me know. bsummerfie...

Bought a used Skeeter in August 2000
I believe they were only made for a year and 1998 must have been the year. By August 2000, the Superfly was already out of production and Savage was out of business. I believe Savage had their boats molded outside of Greenville SC. Do not remember the town but I think the company was based around Er...
