Pyranna S-8 235
Any thoughts on converting (to C1) a Pyranna S-8 235? I want to try a little C1 playboating and this boat is sitting un-used in my barn.

Does anyone know where to get a good airbag sized properly to use a a centre bag in an OC-2 (Vertige X). I know I can use a large end-bag rolled back but it ofter gets away on me.

opinions on detonator
Looking for thoughts on the Esquif Detonator -- stability, rolling, surfing, etc.. I paddle a Zephyr now but need a second boat for family member. Zephyr is great but maybe not tough enough for creekier stuff. I tried a Taureau but too radical for me, and I am probably not a good enough paddler for ...

Zephyr
This is my third season with Zephyr. Initially all the outfitting (thigh straps) pulled out (after about 2 hours use) but I was able to redo it myself with glue and tools that Esquif sent me. Midway through the second season it developed 4 good cracks right through the hull on the chine at the stern...

OC roll when tipping to the offside.
I am trying to nail down a decent OC roll. However, when I tip to my offside, I seem to get stuck on my offside.
How do most paddlers get set up properly for their roll when they tip to the offside?

Zephyr outfitting
I had the same problem with thigh strap outfitting coming out right away (1 hour). Through my dealer I contacted Esquif and they sent me glue (the 3-m stuff) , a gun and directions. I glued everything myself (using the same D rings that peeled off) and 1 year later things are still secure. For the k...

Vertige X
Couple wants to get a WW tandem playboat. We do have a solo Vertige (12' 10") but it seems wet enough solo let alone with 2 paddlers (300 lbs. total). Any thoughts out there on the Vertige X vs. the Blast? How steep is the learing curve on the Blast?
