I've paddled the vertige x with matt. It found it very dry, for the water level that we had on that river. But as we are both small persons, things may change for people a little bit heavier than we are. Anyway, it was very stable and it has no surprises. I liked it very much. I think it's ok for be...

I've had a swim, where I was head downstream in the river, and turned first on my back, before turning my feet downstream. What seemed to be a big mistake. I hit some rock on my back (just below the life jacket). With the result that it kind of paralized me for a moment because it hit my backbone (a...

Eddy's photos are online! They are really cool! Thank you!

I think your long drive to switzerland was worth it, just for the nice pictures you've made! 8)

Next year (I hope you will come again!) you deserve an extra pot of fondue!

well, the bathtube, I really miss it. :( I'll have to ask the caretaker of the hut where it has gone... can you imagine an outdoor-bathtube, in a place like bäuertweidli, with hot water? that's what I call outdoor-wellness. 8) but this wouldn't be a penalty anymore. but I could imagine something lik...

Fondue penalty

This is next year's rule: Who looses his bread, jumps nacked in the simme (I was in the Simme in a Bikini, but with a hot bathtube to jump in afterwards - it's really cooling!) An other nice idea could be: who gets the lost bread can decide over the loosers penalty (running around the hut is boring....

hm... as one of the rare swiss paddlers at this year's armada, I just have to say something about that fondue: It was the best idea ever! Fire & meat is always around on a boaters meeting, but you really dont have a fondue every day! but. It could have been better. It's supposed to be cheesy, and no...

Thanks to Matt for a brilliant weekend, I hope you enjoyed the Saane! I think I will go for a little more training in c-boats (kayaking I'll do anyway...) and learning to roll! But sometimes, it's not too bad, to swim (and I don't do it very often). Hope to see you all next year or on an other trip ...
