Greenwich England?
That would be 5 hours ahead of eastern time so at 6:30 am here it says it's 11:30.
I think that's it.

I go around 190 lbs and spent a day on mostly easy water in a Taureau prototype demo boat. It handled my weight easily and I'd guess it would be fine with yours. In the more dificult rapid (Zoar Gap on the Deerfield in Mass) I was intrigued by the feeling that the Taureau stayed on top of the foam w...

Taureau
I demoed one and it seemed plenty big to me.
I'm 5'9" and weigh 190.

LOL Chris Kelly
I just got a flash of me flipping, tucking, seeing Raquel and not bothering to roll. " Hey babe, you come here often?"
Jeesh talk about distractions!
Thanks to all for the sugestions,

From a pool Roll to a combat Roll
Ha! I got all excited last weekend because my OC roll actualy worked when I needed it. Which is to say that it often doesn't. Even this time I think it only worked because I was momentarily out of the current at the bottom of the drop that dumped me. So I'm looking for tips on how to take my fairly ...

Compared to a Slasher
The Atom is a little bit slower and a little bit steadier than a Slasher.

Taureau Saddle
I believe the Taureau that I tried (David Nickersons Demo) had a 9" saddle. It felt very stable to me.

Weighty subject
Hey Jim, If you don't mind my asking, how much weight do you put in your Outrages? Also when you use the Standard vs. the X? I've been wondering if my 190+ lbs and the 20 or so lbs of junk I carry might be too much for my Outrage in heavier water? Thinking the X might carry my weight a little better...

The pictures on the Esquif site show a tall coaming (rim) which I assume is to help it stay dry. The prototype that I paddled had no coaming at all. The opening was not too much larger than a keyhole cockpit. I was wondering how hard it would be to build a bolt-on coaming for use with a skirt? Custo...

Outrage, Rival (Kaz makes a nice glass Rival), Probe, Ovation, Detonator. All good intermediate (ie forgiving) OC1s. All are far more manuverable than the Impulse. At your weight I'd guess you would keep it to 12' or less. I'm partial to the Outrage for it's blend of speed and manuverability. The Ri...

C1, OC1 and ???
The Skeeter, Quake, the various Fly's and now the Taureau. Can anybody explain to me the appeal of these not really open, not really decked boats? I demoed the prototype Taureau yesterday. It's a sweet hull but it's pretty wet. Looking at the Esquif site it appears that the production boats have an ...
