This may be over kill at this point but I will say that Eli spent a week teachning me to paddle. He is not only a world class paddler but also a world class instructor. If I could make it back that direction for the clinic I would be there in a heart beat.

WW Paddlers in South Texas

I had to relocate to South Texas (two hours south of San Antonio) one year ago. Everytime I try using the net to locate white water I keep getting images of people on innertubes  Can anyone point me to the WW paddling community for this area? Thank you in advance for the help.

I took that as great inspiration.......... Got the Veritge out at one of the parks in Salem, VA this week end........ It was the first time I was able to get my brother-in-law in a boat. My two nephews (ages 5 and 7 were brought up from South Carolina ) said thier favorite part of the whole sledding...

I have an ignorant newbie kinda question for y'all. Does this whole long vs. short boat deal even take the paddler size into the equasion? What about the big boys like me...... the ones that are obviously well above the 250 lb mark? :o  :o I'm not trying to throw a wrench in the works on this....

BOAT NEEDED.......

Anybody have an Esquif Vertige or a Probe 12 II that you would not mind parting with? I am looking for my first OC. I love being on the river and I have found that I like paddling white water in an OC. I am in Roanoke, VA most of the time because of my job. My home is in the upstate of South Carolin...

I understand that this boat should be ok for the "larger" paddler  . Any idea what the upper weight limit of the paddler might be?
