kootney river

Here in Alberta,BC,we also have a wide variety of river trips.I'd have to say that one of the finest anywhere in the country would have to be the Kootney River.Up to class 3,some parts are remote, some are very close to roads but feels like the Yukon. The finest scenery with plenty of wildlife.Extende...

back ferry

Not on all rivers, but the more difficult it gets, the more i use it.Especially on unfamiliar rivers with a higher degree of consequence. But never when i paddle with a 'yaker, use 'em as speed bumps and ramps over holes.

Ok,we had a demo come out our way,but i was unable to try it out with such short notice. Some that tried it liked it and some hated it,but no one loved it.I paddle a c-1 and expect that they struggled with it was because they paddled in the stern to much and not enough forward strokes. It'll lose spee...

health care

Ya' , our health care is great.Recently reported to be near 15th best in the develpoed world, right behind Cuba.No gov't in the world can run a health care system better than the private sector.

Sorry for following the wrong turn on the post, had to nip it in the bud.
