Outrage

I'm working on my third one. I'm 5'6" and about your weight. I find it to do everything well. It's a good big water as well as technical boat. i find it stable as well.
If you get one and don't like it they sell fast too.

Descender

I know someone who would be very interested. It is a boat that everyone doesn't like but the ones that do swear by it. If you don't get it please post.

Enders on Ocoee

Bottom hole in Double Trouble, a picture of Steve from B'ham was in Ocoee Photo's last month. I'd never seen it dine before.
hades Hole, if you swim go right at PH. You can actually body surf the wave just above the powerhouse hole to get farther to the right.

Bow

The high rocker end is the bow. Baily once said if you take water over the bow you know you're in BIG water.
People then either loved or hated the Prophet not to many fence sitters.

New Boat

There are a lot of options, I would suggest paddling as many of them as you can. I paddle an Outrage and love it as an all around boat, it has plenty of rocker, ferrys and surfs well etc. Others feel the same about their current boats as well.

Scamp

When Whitesel first started out he used Mohawks facilities/equipment to mold his boats. The Scamp was his first effort(?). The Scamps bow and stern were pulled in unlike the Whitesel's which were probably pulled out 4". I had one in the day and widened the ends . It did very well for then. I had it ...

Bags in

I try to keep them tight which means You may see me beside the road adjusting as well. I also check the bottom of the thwarts/gunnells for screw ends. I wrap them with duct tape.

I tried to reply to your email but it kept coming back as undeliverable. My friend with the Outrage X can be reached at paddlinbob@hotmail.com . The boat is in good shape and I think is partially outfitted, no bags.
