Ceemweavin....

OK! So PACman came and gave irreplaceable help getting the Ceemweaver float chopped (thanks Paul). Big surprise.... it's chopped great for Paul! In any case - he didn't have any comfort issues and we got the whole deck pretty much underwater- so we got it where it needs to be. I'll have a new Skirtw...

yeah!

The deck looks pretty much the same. I have a cool new idea for the cockpit rim. You'll have to wait and see. I'm really not sure I'll have a unit to play with in time- we are taking off for a squirt comp on the New this weekend- but maybe the Cquirteests can help me do a float chop! Yous guys need ...

mo notes

My friend Taiki helped detail the hull and we made major progress on the hull today. Seamlines are still unresolved- but the hull geometry is 95% there.....

deep dreams...

no.....

sorry- it's not coming out in a full chop. Hopefully we can get PAC to come down and help us with a float chop and the prototype will be a low chop for a 200 poundish person- too big for a lot of you all- but small enough to play in and get an idea of what it's about. just tryin to have me some fun,...

notes

I'll be able to post some new/better pictures soon. I am going for stability and chopability. It's 28" wide and has wider sections than PACs bat which he has loaned me to study the outfitting. Knee spots will be wide. What you see in the pictures Paul took is about the size for someone around 260 lb...

thumbs up!

Congratulations on wetting her Adam. Looks great! I know you'll have big fun with it- and there's every chance you'll be roaming on mysteries in good arenas. That must have been real fun and satisfying to paddle. I'm sure you're going to have fun cranking that thing up once you get used to it. Now y...

thanks!

Thanks for all the notes and clues. We'll just have to wait and see now. Mike- the pattern showed up in perfect condition- thanks for the effort. I noticed it's a bit of an oval- does the long axis of the oval run with the long axis of the boat- or across? I'll do one more talkover on the rigging wi...

btw Adam...

The Mentor looks fun! You should be able to whip those ends around with impunity. In the pics with a second boat- is that a Max of some sort?

Looking forward to your play report~~

OK

Thanks for the input. My heart was really in doing a ground breaking dropper. One thing I wanted to bring to the design is true stability. Would anyone like to contribute input as to 1. a good stable boat width 2. a nice knee width (center of knee to center of knee) 3. a way comfy seat height This t...

just wondering.....

I'm going to design a squirt C-1 this winter and I was wanting to make a real sinker- just for fun. But- I was wondering... looking for people's opinions on it they would prefer a cruise friendly unit- or a destination mystery machine with better roaming ability. It's gonna be way low in any case- I...
