I used to have one but sold it along with my old pop. From what I understand there are only a handful of them kicking around at this point. Definitely, hard to find and acquire.

not a skip, but

I used to paddle a Pop, the skip's larger size, made a decent conversion. It was a bit narrow at 24", and I think the skip even more so, 23.5" or so. With that beings said, I didn't find it that twitchy. I seem to recall there being a decent amount of information on the skip/pop if you do a search. ...

The upper fraser is pretty low these days. The raft run may be still good to go, the canyon may be a bit to low. There was some commentary on the Fraser level recently on www.calpaddle.com.

Really? When I spoke to Werner, they were pretty hesitant. Maybe it was just the rep I spoke to. I'll have to try again.

In the meantime, anyone else have any experience cutting a bandit in two?

Thanks,

Brad

breakdown paddle conversion question

Anyone have any experience cutting an old werner bandit in two to make a breakdown paddle? I have an old Werner bandit (fiberglass) that I want to convert. I've done some searching of the forum and can't find any specifics to help me out (maybe I'm not good at searching). Since the bottom of the sha...

I paddled a ego c-1 at 185 and it was "interesting". Fun in a hole, but pretty tricky to get around. At 130 it certainly would be far more manageable. If its cheap, go for it, otherwise there are better options.

Adam, There are tons of whitewater opportunities out in Calgary. There is great paddling in the area. I am sorry to burst your bubble, but there is no whitewater park at COP. They are in the early stages of retrofitting the old weir on the bow river near downtown into a multi drop ww park. But that ...

Calling 07/08 Superstar owners

Wondering what your setback from the back rest of your saddle to the back of the rim. Looking for a reference point to start at before fine tuning the trim. Thanks,

too big, too tall

That would be one huuuuge c1. Bulkhead style works great for c1, but you're prety much on your own to shape your own saddle and bulkhead system.
