John's Shedder was made by the guy up in Ohiopyle (Bill Love? someone help on this one). Sick run! John knew the run like the back of his hand. I...

They missed Vermont Canoe, Too
Quite frankly, Paddler and C&K Mag should all be called Kayak Mag.
Only canadian mags seem to give canoes ant focus these days.
Any good USA canoe mags I'm missing?

AWESOME PHOTOS!
Do what the doctor says...
...and your photos are awsome. The Mad River is at 2000+ and those shots convinced me I need to be out there tomorrow.

Vermont Canoe...
Yo Kaz and fellow c-boaters, I'm so glad I found Cboats.net. I've been hangin' with p-netters on paddling.net and saw some references to this site. So I certainly wasn't going to miss the chance to jump right in. Anyway, after working at MRC for 6 years, I survived (with scars) the merger of Mad Riv...

Try Plastic Weld...
Since the cracks don't go all the way through, I recommend trying Plastic Weld found in the hardware store with the two part epoxys and such. Just v-notch out the cracks with a utility knife and fill. The stuff sets up very fast. After, you can sand it flat and smooth and paint it. If you really wan...

MRC Caption...
The Caption was originally a Dagger canoe. Under Watermark ownership, Dagger's canoes were fadding away and they had discontinued the Caption. Then Confluence bought Watermark and have since brought back the Caption (same mold) and put the Mad River name on the side. Hardish chines, carves well. Per...
