Ummmmm, I posted this but I guess JC had logged in from my computer at ALF! ***** From Georgia Stu: I've had my L'edge since Christmas, been out around 15 times, and it's holding up great. LOVE it! Paddled it on Tellico ledges and similar, trying to boof everything in sight, no problems. Actually it...

Common themes of the 'great ones' - personable, gives back to the sport, encourages others, talented but humble. Arrogance doesn't look good on anyone, no matter how accomplished a boater they are (or think they are), and it's definitely no fun to be around. Gets old VERY quickly.

Wayne Dickert! Olympian, great boater, great teacher, and a model of humility. No better whitewater ambassador (canoe OR kayak!) than Wayner, in my book.

The water's warming up - time for a good swim (or several)! Actually I'm picking up the yellow boat on this trip so sadly it won't be outfitted in time for immediate carnage.

Cheajack and I will boating somewhere in East TN that weekend, but likewise can't commit to the Pigeon at this point until we see what's flowing naturally. We'll keep in touch here!

The flex tubing was left over from a bilge pump project, connected to a travel hair dryer. I made a d...

As long as it's not purple with a nasty black patch half the size of the boat, it'll be different than what I'm paddling now!

First time in a canoe - a Boy Scout trip on a lake in Indiana. First time on a river, a beer-assisted trip down the Upper Kalamazoo River somewhere near Albion, Michigan with a bunch of work buddies, and absolutely loved it! The same group followed that with a WW rafting trip down the Lower Yough. T...
