Re: An Option for Prelude paddlers

I have a "new design" Big Octane (tandem) on order. My interest was to be able to paddle with family members on rivers they are not ready to paddle alone. And besides, I've always liked the team approach that tandem boating allows. The selling points for the BF were not necessarily the design, but t...

Re: An Option for Prelude paddlers

I'm sure Blackfly will be thrilled that they've cornered the Prelude market  Thanks for the comparison. Glad you're lovin' the new ride. I wish Blackly had something other than the Octane 91 for heavier folks . Anxious to know what will come to replace the L'Edge Lite. Pat. The newly designed...

Re: Octane 92

Since I have the new design coming, hopefully in June, I am reading everyone's posts with much interest. I suspect most of my paddling partners will be between 60-120 LBS.

Re: Murky Waters

There are other Massive molds he has...if I understand correctly he's built most (all?) of the production Massive boats (Ian can confirm or deny). There is a "normal" boat. Which don't get me wrong, is awesome. But then there is a not so normal one. I'm sure you can guess which has been ordered.......

Re: Foot braces on Perception saddle

Are you finding that your legs are not sufficiently controlled without them? Have you used pegs in your other boats? What did they do for you? My long legs, once bent on a low seat, and with my feet resting on their tops, are firmly under control and not in need of pegs. If you use pegs and your an...

2013 Esquif Detonator in Middle Tennessee

I post this as an FYI only in case anyone is looking for a Royalex boat. The price was $1200 and has been reduced. I think the pump was removed as it is no longer a part of the ad.
