Me and a buddy paddling Gyras, left high and dry during a "flash drought" on the Locust Fork in Alabama..Spring '84

ezwater, I remember the cook, Mervin, and his buddy Kevin Taz Riggs. Back in the mid '80s, usually late evening, those guys would throw enders until dark. The NOC used to carry a postcard with Taz's picture in a big front ender there, wearing an old Joe Brown climbing helmet. Good times.

Anyone paddle an old Acrobat? I had one for a few years. I bought it from Roger Scot on the Ocoee back in 1990. Really fun little boat. I sold it on the Gauley a few years back. Don't see many around anymore.

I recently bought a Dagger Atom for my 11 year old son- his first boat. I'm looking to buy a short paddle (50- 52") for him along with a C1 skirt that will fit the Atom. Size small or medium tunnel. Used, but not abused. If you have something please let me know. thanks, ken
