I've got this problem! I've got it where my big toes meet my feet, and it's more pronounced on the right foot.
Never had anyone look at it (doctors, that is. When I go barefoot in public, plenty of people look at it -- with horror!)
But they've never boofed offside . . .
Cheers,
AB

It does remind me a little of the Groove. It really is amazing how crazy some of these boats feel to paddle when you first get in them. The Groove felt that way. The Acrobat -- I didn't think things were going to work out between us at first. But then you spend a little time in them and now, yeah, I...

I am really excited to get head-under. Just getting sucked down to your chest is wild. Hades, just paddling a boat that is usually under water is wild. Just paddling without a lifejacket is wild. But I am not going to be satisfied until I have done some "roaming!" You know I was just thinking -- par...

Acrobat
Got a few quick pictures of the way-cut-down Acrobat today. It's a great boat, and quite small: Here's the whole boat from above: A few actio...

Oh my god, that OC2 was hilarious! If I were an English teacher discussing this article with a group of well-meaning students, I might ask: 1) Have you ever borrowed a boat from "an undisclosed sponsor"? 2) Were the "carnage vultures" really there to set safety? Why were they disappointed when JJ an...

Wow, that is incredible, Yarnell. The Stave River. What a trip report. Cory Boux is a world-class paddler -- but that looks like an almost life-changing swim he was forced to take. I can't believe what the river did to his boat! Wild Canadian river with great rapids -- why am I not surprised to see ...

The (way) cut-down Acrobat
Got a chance to take a (way) cut-down Acrobat for a spin yesterday on the Potomac. It belongs to a local paddler named Dirk Young, who apparently used to get some serious downtime in it. Which I can believe. It is an awesome boat! Really, really cut down. Looked like no Acrobat I've seen. It reminde...
