Behavior on forum

As most people who know me or visit this forum realize, I am generally laid back and don't stick my nose in. But, in this case I feel obligated to voice an opinion. While I don't defend the recent actions of a few of my friends, or defend their positions/opinions, I feel that the board has lost some...

I started out and was quite content to paddle the DeathYak. I swicthed to a canoe, not because it was the pinacle of whitewater, for two reasons. 1. Everyone I paddled with open boated and could offer advise. 2. I couldn't take the constant harassment for my craft of choice. Now that I paddle a cano...

How about pie? Everyone likes pie. Tell 'em you'll take 'em out for pie and coffee afterwards. I got a friend interested this year by a basic principle used by 10 year olds the world over...the double-dog dare. I nagged him into watching Hold My Beer and he said that it looked pretty easy and he cou...

Dude, don't go with the stereo-type. But, if you ever had to cross the border, it definitely would have been swim.

Louie got me into the sport and I lived at his house for quite a while. It isn't so much that Louie retaliates as instigates from afar. He loves to mash 'em buttons. Trust me, I know. Paddle a deathyak with the GDI. Two blades + inflatable = relentless harassment.

I really liked the start last year. Maybe a T-Shirt or a six pack for the "best" run off Baby Falls (crowd favorite is the way I would go, but it has to be your race-run, not a second huck).

Shawn, get your mind out of the gutter...Tony set up for photos behind a good boof. Not used to paddling with the GDI and I don't think he realized that his presence was not going to stop the boof. The swim was no where near as impressive as a video I watched of you surfing Humongous andd is complet...

It was only 3 1/2 hours. The swim was dumb but it was fun boofing your head.

Was not duck hunting, by the end, though, I was feeling pretty loose.

Deerfield River in MA

I got to run the section below Fife/Brook today. Yes, I know, the Tuck is probably listed as harder. But... There I was, disgruntled because the other boaters I was meeting have not shown up. Chit-chatting with the peoples and waiting. And waiting. And waiting. I was just getting fed up enough to pu...

The Savage is probably not harder, just I get hinckey sometimes and don't run sh...stuff even when I can. GDI has taken to calling these my "walks of shame". Doesn't mean anything about the run other than my head isn't in it.

Thanks to the PA Crew

Just want to say thanks to Gumpy, FullGnars, and Big Al for showing me the way down the UY. Special thanks to Al for swimming so I didn't have to be the only one.
