Phil, flimsy? I have had a lot of higher priced sticks and I am harder on them than most, do not like to do a lot of work to keep them in good shape. So I got something that I don't feel as bad when I beat it on a rock, lets be honest it happens. It is like bying ABS for SE creeking, for the money, ...

From what I understood they make a FG reinforced ABS blade with a FG shaft and what I have, a carbon reinforced blade with a carbon shaft.

I have broke 2 of the FG blades, got caught in the rock, but not the carbon one. The good thing I didn't have a lot of money tide up in them. It is the paddle I use.

We will be at Glen echo on Saturday afternoon, it is around Rustic. Going to the Ark on Tuesday, come home on Friday. Look for 4 Ledges.

Shawn, Chris, Dan and myself will be in the Pouder Canyon on the 6th of August. Hopefully the water will hold. Come on openboaters join us.

The GDI went to the Russel Fork on Saturday. There was at least 50 boaters there, the most I have seen. Good time had by all

I have to agree with Phil, if you are looking for speed I would look at the Prelude. I have only been in the L'edge one time and the Prelude one time I did not think the L'edge was faster. I paddel a skeeter and I think it is faster. But both are wetter then a decked L'edge.

Dooley I will be there but I think Dan will still be out with his shoulder. Looking forward to it we had a good time last year.
