Cried over my gone for good Whitesell and can you help?
My Whitesell Descender went to the great Whitewater river in the sky finally. I will remember it with great love and fond memories. Can anyone recommend a replacement canoe now that Whitesell canoes are no longer being made (at least I think they are no longer being made). I know the Whitesells were...

New to C-1 - suggestions on Boat
Hi Folks, Im an OC for twenty years - not too accomplished but hope I'm not a total newb either. I currently paddle a Whitesell Descender and recently a Spanish Fly (love both!). I'd like advice on the world of c-1 - I primarily want a c-1 to go down a 1-3 class river with some ability to rock hop, ...

paddle length
Hi guys, Northeast paddlers sent me here because, "the guys at cboats talk about this subject all the time." So apologies if I'm bringing up a subject you guys have talked about all the time. But I'm setting out in my new Spanish Fly (love it by the way so far). I'm relatively a newb when it comes t...

Thanks Larry
Thanks Larry - I appreciate your words and kind offer. I will take your advice seriously - thanks for the kind offer even though we're on opposite coasts of the US - you're the kind like a lot of these folks here who are real welcoming to a newb like me!! Thanks again. Tim

Esquif Spanish Fly
Thoughts on this boat greatly appreciated. I want to do some rockhopping in my local river for the most part. Strange looking boat but something tells me there's more to it! Of course, I'm asking you guys because you may know more than I do by a long shot. Thanks for comments ahead of time. Tim

You may have saved me big time...
Hi Guys,
Thanks, my newbiness is showing, I admit it. The Ammo may be great as a kayak but I'm hearing you say "No Way" as a conversion to C-1. You saw above what I basically want to do. Any recommendations you can come up with? Appreciate the answer. Thanks again, Tim

Pyranha Ammo Conversion
Hi Folks - I'm an OC'er for years. Tried to Kayak and did OK at all day lessons but long story short: My gut muscles just can't hold the L position for long (I can kneel all day long however) Hence the conversion idea..... I want a boat that lets me do some point to point on a river but I want to re...
