Wow...18 miles, I'm jealous. I can usually make it about 45 minutes to an hour, and once I get out the first time my time till the next break gets almost exponentially shorter. I think it depends how I get situated in my boat though because sometimes I can last a lot longer. Where are you going on y...

Well, creekboats are sticky if you get sideways in a big hole. They punch holes well, but usually when yer stuck...yer stuck. You can't squirt the stern and/or bow under to blast out, you just get forced to sidesurf. I saw a friend of mine in a playboat playing El Hydralic on the Russell Fork and th...

I bet Nolan ran it clean...I saw him on the Russell Fork a few weekends ago in an OC2 with his wife I believe and he had cleaner lines than anyone else I saw at Triple Drop. I was thoroughly impressed. He's an amazing boater.

I have a Huck and noticed that pedestal placement makes a difference with stability. I would make sure that you have yer weight centered really well. I saw a guy on the Russell Fork a few weekends ago in a Gus and he had a big smile on his face, so I assumed he was doing well. I'm sure the Huck and ...

Orange Necky Witch C-1. Good shape, all foam outfitting but may throw in Dagger Pedestal. Could be persuaded to throw in Custom MT. Surf skirt cut fer the boat, or perhaps trade for a full size skirt of descent repair. Boat is in Kentucky, but I'm always lookin for an excuse to go paddle somewhere e...

Hey, I'm undecided if I should go back to the Russell Fork or the Gauley this weekend. I've never run the Gauley so I'd like to hit it this year, but the Russell Fork is so goddam awesome I don't know if I can turn it down. I was thinking about paddling the Russell Fork saturday and heading to the G...

For what it's worth... I paddled my Huck on the Russell Fork all weekend and had an absolute blast. First of all, the Russell Fork is far and away the coolest river I have paddled in a while. It is so much fun I didn't get to sleep till about 4 or 5 in the morning because I was just thinking about g...

I like boofs. One of my favorite moves I've ever done is boofing Big Splat. Such a sweet move. I also like the boof move at Tablesaw on the Ocoee. Wavewheels are fun as well, my buddy and I do tandem wavewheels into hades Hole which is a blast. Lastly, I'll have to say the offside Blunt. Nothing fee...

I'm going to New Zealand in November and was wondering the same thing. I was going to try to sell my playboat here before I left and buy a Flipstick while I'm down there. The only problem is I'm not going to have a vehicle as far as I know so I'm not sure how easy it'll be to paddle. Also, I was won...

WHAT?! Cancel a paddling trip because of RAIN! Shouldn't that be read as...BRING YER CREEKBOATS! Actually, I understand what you are saying. However, this is a public service announcement...IF YOU HAVE A CREEKBOAT AND LIKE RUNNING CREEKS THEN BRING YER CREEKBOAT! I want to do some creeking with some...
