It takes time. I have gotten to the point where I "brace" with just my fist and Tgrip unless it's a really bumpy ride. In easy holes, probably not the ocean, you will start to figure out balance and then you can brace just with your fist. If you're getting bounced around a lot then I just do like a ...

Ok, do all yerselves a favor and buy a LL Huck. This boat is awesome, hands down, no questions asked, no doubt about it. I've only had it on a few local III-IV creeks but I have never felt as comfortable in a boat. This thing carves into the smallest of eddies, boofs without a paddle stroke, is as s...

Many people on this sight may disagree, but the Dagger pedestal is a easy way to go. I' converted a Skip for a demo and it took about 5 minutes. Check out www.kayakoutfitting.com for the pedestal. Good luck, thats a sweet boat for a C1.

FS: Master Cut Acrobat (150 lbs)

Low cut for about 150-155 lbs. Seams and outfitting need some work, would be a good project for someone. Other than that fairly sound, a few scratches thru gelcoat. Fun boat for whitewater and flatwater. Mastercut boat is about 2 feet shorter than full cut Acro. Boat is in SE, contact Will at 859 22...

You should sell your ego kayak and buy the Ego C-1 posted a few posts below. Its modified with more rocker and a little less volume in the bow (footbumps squashed out). It really rips, plus has sweet outfitting. If you just want to convert yours though, I'd recommend just a Dagger Pedestal or the Te...

I say the C-forum should put in a nomination...

...for Space Canoe as the next governor of California. What does everyone else think? I think he'd do a much better job than Arnold, and at least he's a Cboater.

I agree with Alden. On tight technical creeks, the Cascade is not much good with the newer boats available. In bigger water, I thought it was to much to handle, although I'm only about 150lbs. I just bought a LL Huck and have only taken it on the Tellico (easy III creek that is usually run in a play...

This is a really sweet boat. Definatly worth checking out if you want a good playboat. It has a little more rocker than the normal Ego too which makes it way easier to set up in holes. Plus, the outfitting is sweet.

We're starting to get quite the international crowd here...

Italy, Canada, Japan, is there an Australia also? This new Cforum is a lot better than the old one. Once again, nice job to Adam and everyone else who volunteered a lot of time to help.

Looks and sounds good. I want one. I wonder if Necky will take a trade on the witch? Probably not, oh well. Also, how do people get their outfitting looking like that. From the looks of my outfitting I need to be sponsored by 3M.

Amen to Tim...I'd love to hear a review on the Chronic and would do just about anything to get into a Vibe C-1. These new boats are far and away some of the best looking designs out this year, wait, I think they ARE the best. Thanks,

Sir Adam of Cboats-on-the-river, I'll be in WV if its raining, perhaps around the Morgantown area, or maybe the Tygart. If you want to drive a little ways let me know and I'd be glad to hook up and do some boating. That is, if you don't mind one of those inferior lowdown scummy...ugh...KAYAKERS tagg...
