A friend (OK me) lost his kayak paddle on Cheoah Sat. , GDI went on sunday & found a kayak paddle, but not mine. Louie, Thank's for thinking of me as GDI, though I am not sure if I can live up to it's namesake.

we looked at Lower Potters Falls, was pretty sporty at that water level for us & we just ran the upper falls.

Big thanks to: Louie, Jeff, Dan, Chris & Alex for showing me , stacy & Paul (though he had been before) down Little Clear Creek. Was a great plateau run. Thanks for the great lines & stuff! Myself, Stacy & Paul did go & run Potters falls afterward, it was a great level for the falls. I ran left line...

Dooley, please tell us you have video! You had me beet today by an est. 28 feet. A few of us went over & ran Potters Falls on Crooked fork creek ( I here 17 ft.) today after we got off Liitle Clear Creek with the GDI.

Eli, I know we need to request that they not drop the color variance test for the Pigeon, but how should we approach the permitt thing that you listed? Are we opposed to this permitt? Not sure what the permitt is for or against!

Steve Frazier (OC-1) did a first descent onCompression Falls, also called Big Falls on the lower Elk (N.C.). I think he broke his back doing it, but continued to paddle after recovering. Had a great time for my first run on Tremont sunday. A great Smokies style run at a great first time level, plus a warm sunny day for December. Thanks for the great lines, tips, & support!

Anyone have any Norse paddles in good to excellent condition that they want to sell, or know anyone who may? Preferably around 66". & could also use one around 60".
