I have rolled my super fly in a pool with hand paddles, a few times. A strong hip snap and keeping your head down is a must.

It was fun as usual, the Lost Tribe are becoming strong paddlers. I look forward to seeing these guys in a few years ripping the creeks and shredding the holes... It was also very cool to see esprit loan out some nice boats and instruction as well 8) I would love to spend some time in Mexico with th...

I like to peel in and out of eddies backwards in the supa Fly. I like to think that if I am ever being blown down stream after being rejected from a micro eddy, I will be more suited to catch the next eddy backwards and retain my balance. hopefully not rolling and being pushed off of a drop backward...

I agree with Oc1er...the scissor motion is very important...lead with your head as well. Look at the bow as you start, and then look for the stern as you rotate past vertical...very helpful...
enjoy....

oh well then.... I will just have to wait until the hype subsides, hopefully the fly will carry me through the winter again. It has given me $2000 worth of fun for only $200...so what if it's alittle wet. Louie, did you pop the dent out of the bow yet? how hard did you hit to do that? just curious.....

At OO, you do not get paid until you get released to run trips. Some people never get released, so it's not a money maker for them. I have lost a few friends from OO due to issues on rivers other than the Ocoee. I think that it may be partially due to reading water and possible not being with others...
