Open boats by definition are going to be wet. if you get a pump that ll deal with most of that issue, but a taureau is never going to carve like a slalom c1 or even a remix, its not really designed for that anyway. Judy, the issue is shutter speed rather than focus. the shutter speed is a touch too slow to get the pics sharp. Solution is raise the ISO level, or put it on auto ISO and put the camera on shutter priority and choose say 1/250th but experiment until its sharp, you might have to go faster to capture...
