What part of the Midwest are you moving to? We have a lot of paddlers here in Illinois, in Missouri, and Wisconsin. Gotta drive a little get into whitewater but we get by. Might hang onto at least one boat.

Very interested but geography is a b*****. My wife just had a baby so long road trips are out of the question for a little while. Do you ever find yourself passing through the mid-western states?

I'm building a new wood paddle but would like to make the to out of something more durable. I've tried tips made from epoxy resin but they just didn't hold up. What do paddle companies use to make reinforced tips on their wood paddles? Is there some you're of plastic resin I should try?

I have an XL14 for sale its set up with a triple saddle to be paddled solo or tandem.
