Re: Soul Waterman's Fanatix
That looks pretty good. Might be kind of weird though not getting hassled by kayakers for paddling an open boat. Lol

Re: Hornet and Magnet comparisons
Does anyone know what kind of paddler weight the Magnet can handle, or possibly its dimensions. I have an eye out for another boat, and I might keep an eye for a Magnet if it can float me. Thanks.

Prijon Pure XL conversion question - securing foam pillar
Hello everybody. I have Prijon Pure XL I would like to convert with a Dagger pedestal insert. I may possibly use this setup for creeking. I am assuming that I will put foam pillars in, which I know how to make already, and are needed to secure the Dagger pedestal. My question is: How would I secure ...

Re: Kayak conversions—and catching up!
If you want snappy handling, then the Pyrhana Burn is the boat for you. They even make an XL size, which is pretty wide. This is not based on experience, just an opinion developed from reading people's posts, and seeing the boat in person. It is pretty edgy.

Re: Looking for OC-1 in CA
I saw an Outrage X for sale on Bend craigslist, under boats.

Also, a friend was selling a Genesis, though that seemed pretty far down on the "wish list".

Re: Does anyone canoe in Colorado?
I used to live in Denver, and did quite a bit of open canoeing, and I would say the whitewater community there is a lot more chill about open boating than in California. Check out the Rocky Mountain Canoe Club, maybe they could help you find a canoe. Once you learn how to boat, the Colorado Whitewat...

Have a question regarding what size Snapdragon EXP you're using on the Prijon Pure XL. Thanks.

Re: Jackson Antix
According to the Jackson web site, they list a large Antix with a 27" inch beam. If I was going to convert the boat, I would go for wider. Just my opinion, I haven't paddled too many C1s.Rand C1 wrote:The Jackson Antix looks like a C1 to me, 26.25" beam

Re: Boat of the Week - Dagger Atom
I've always wanted to get an Atom, it looks like it would be fun for citizens slalom racing. I'm a bit heavy for it but my weight is almost down to the point where I could sort of paddle it. It was fun to read this thread. Maybe some day I'll get one.

Re: Dropzone available in US
Is information regarding the DropZone's width, type of hull (displacement or planning), and suggested paddler weight range available? I searched around the Internet for a few minutes, did not find any info. Thanks.

Re: Royelex Repair on Descender
I have fixed cracks in my Royalex canoe a couple of times using the following steps: 1) Took razor blade utility knife and gouged out sides of crack to clean up jagged edges. 2) Sanded then treated surface with Acetone to clean 3) Filled in crack with G-flex. 4) Took piece of Kevlar cloth cut to siz...
