WTB Option/L'Edge
WTB the cheapest Blackfly Option or even cheaper Esquif L'Edge I can find. I need a creeker, my goal is to do the race this fall assuming I have the $. I'll will most likely be at ALF. Don't care about airbags or outfitting, and and pump hole or crack is a big minus.

Gettin new folk
The biggest reason more people pick kayaks to learn on? $$$. My first kayak was free, its way easier to borrow a kayak, and I can buy a kayak that will get me down just about anything for $100. Try buying a canoe you trust in class V for that. You can't. Our company KG boat has been abused for years...

WTB Creeker
Looking for an OC1 creeker. Preferably a modern plastic boat as royalex doesn't hold up to all the boating I do. Although if the price is right an old high performace Rx boat would make do (<= 11ft and edgy). It will be used for all manner of rivers and creeks, possibly safety boating, and if I can ...

Looking for a cheap boat
Looking for a cheap open boat that can get me down the creekin'. Something 11ft or less, hard edges, plenty of rocker. I am raft guide and have a limited budget. I live at the Ocoee, so im looking for a boat that will be in the area.

Re: Boat of the Week - Mohawk Maxim
I paddle a Maxim for 3 years before finally killing it. The lack of primary stability made for a dynamic ride. The worst part is the stern dent you get in the boat, when I bought mine it had one already, though enough duck tape takes care of that. Finally killed it on the Tellico of all places, a ni...

Re: Running the Cascades
If you are comfortable on the horns then you can do the rest of the run. At 250 Kahnuna breaks down well. Junkyard is retarded manky mank, but theres a tight line, but you have a good chance of a low consequence pin (just stay upright) . I think chinese feet is the easiest of the big three, and iit ...

WTB: short OC creeker
The time has come where I can now longer pretend my XL13 is a creek boat. I am looking for a short boat to step it up, something like a maxim or a prelude [wish I could afford the L'Edge]. I can spend a little over $400, depending on what the boat condition is. I am in the Nantahala Gorge, and am wi...
