Selling decked L'edge $1350
Hi everyone, I'm selling a 2011 decked L'edge for $1350. It has been used primarily on the NRG and Gauley and is in good condition. Has the typical base scratches of a used boat but no gouges or bumps of any kind and I have taken good care of it. I have not modified the factory bulkhead and it comes...

Re: Rolling in Holes
I think my issue (sorry don't mean to hijack the thread but seems pertinent!) is when I flip into the hole. Phillip seems to manage to keep himself leaning downstream so that he is rolling about with the hole. This works fine but when I got spun around or lose my balance and flip upstream into the h...

Re: Rolling in Holes
Wow you're right it was so obviously on his off-side too! Sorry about that I must've not been paying much attention. Very impressive. So for the offside roll is it more of just a low brace and a strong hipsnap or is the paddle pushed down on like on an onside?

Re: Rolling in Holes
Can't give you any advice but would like to say that I have the exact same problem. Class IV/V boater with a really strong roll but I still swim almost every time that I get surfed on the wrong side of a hole. If it's surfing you with your onside down river then the roll should be much easier as it ...

Re: Officially converting to C-1
The guy I'm video boating for is selling me a nice Jackson Villain for really cheap. However, I just looked up the outfitting to buy for it here: http://store.jacksonkayak.com/c1-outfitting/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and it's 250 dollars. Any way to do this cheaper?

Re: Officially converting to C-1
Thanks for the replies guys -- I'm looking into everything mentioned and am excited to try a c-1. Is it significantly different paddling wise? I love the l'edge but for some of the water I am moving into an open boat is a problem. Was on the Upper Meadow the other day (which is famous for having a 4...

Re: What paddle to buy
Thanks for the replies guys -- it's all been very helpful! I decided on the echo creek stick, but I called and he said that he was booked up for the summer on making paddles. I gave Foxworx a try next and they said it would be 2-3 weeks and I needed it sooner. So I went for the H20 c-1 team paddle a...

Officially converting to C-1
I've been taking my L'edge out a lot and really enjoying it, but after getting absolutely beat down on a high water upper meadow run today I'm finally convinced me to move over to C-1. What should I look for when buying one? Just buy a creek boat kayak and convert it?

I think I could make it up and would be interested in the canyon. Also lower big sandy or lower blackwater or similar creeks up north if they are running

Re: What paddle to buy
If it's really that big of an improvement I might be able to dish out the cash for the Echo. Forgive my ignorance, but what difference do the higher end paddles like the echo have over something in the mid 100's range?

Re: What paddle to buy
Thanks for the information, I appreciate it! I will look into all of those. I try to be careful with paddles, but running stuff like the Yough and Blackwater tends to bang them around quite badly at times. I would like to keep the price under $200 if possible unless there is a good reason not to.

What paddle to buy
Hi everybody, my Carbon Werner Bandit was stolen so I am looking for a new paddle. I liked the Werner, but am interested in potentially trying something else. I am video boating on the New River Gorge this summer so will probably be running that around 3 times a week (big water), but I'm going to tr...
