Re: Mohawk "Whitewater"

Thanks, thats sort of what I thought. Did Mohawk ever make whitewater style boats in fiberglass? I'm trying to get the serial number/year from the seller.

Re: Mohawk "Whitewater"

Yes I was referring to the 16' tandem canoe called the "whitewater". As seen in these two Craigslist ads. http://atlanta.craigslist.org/wat/boa/2882069190.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http://gadsden.craigslist.org/boa/2886491381.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return fal...

Mohawk "Whitewater"

I'm looking at a couple Mohawk Whitewater canoes but I can't find any info on their specs. One of them is supposedly plastic coated fiberglass and the other royalex. Also how they might compare to an Intrepid, Explorer, and Freedom 16. Thanks for any help.

WTB: Tandem Tripper

I'm looking for a 16-17' tandem canoe. Explorer, Intrepid, Prospector, Arkota, etc. Royalex or better. In the southeast (I'm in Chattanooga). $700 or less.

Well, after discussing it with the wife, she's not interested in riding with me. She said she would rather rent a ducky when she goes. So now I am looking for something a little smaller that I could stuff my young son in the front of for at least the next 6 or 8 years. Maybe a probe 12 or some other...

Wanting to Demo a 14' OC set up for solo

I'm wanting to demo a 14' canoe that is set up for solo or tandem/solo. Caption, Probe, XL. Preferably on the Hiwassee or Cartecay. I have winter gear.

Cool, sounds like I have some looking to do. I've been browsing Mohawks site. Whats the difference between the probe and the XL series. Nice that they are local too.

Is this even possible re: OC2

I am a class 3 kayaker with some flatwater canoe experience. My wife loves renting tandem duckies but has no desire to kayak or go solo. We also have an 18 month old that I would like to start introducing to the sport. Is there a 14' OC that we could tandem paddle on rivers like the hiwassee, nanty,...
