[SOLD] Mad River Outrage X

For Sale Mad River Outrage X. Fully outfitted with twin Tsunamai 1200 pumps. Perfect Harmony Bags and Esquif thigh straps/saddle, foot and ankle blocks I cut no corners on my outfitting or repairs. Boat is well paddled but certainly has lots of life left in it. I had paddled it 3 or 4 times at ASCI ...

Re: Saddle position in Outrage X ?

I have to agree with ezwater, it's not a crazy asymetrical design like some other boats out there. I bought an OutrageX a few years ago, it's my only white water boat. I was paddling more often than I am now but always noticed that it's way bow light. I want to say that my hips are a solid 12" from ...

WTB - Thule TK 1

I'm hunting for a TK1 fit kit, these work with the thule tracker 430 feet. These are for my leer truck cap and worked with many 90's - early 2000's vehicles with existing channels on the roof. If you got a set of 4 laying around collecting dust & want to sell, let me know. I have the 430 feet and ba...

Re: Vertige X as a solo for a 290 lb. paddler

Sounds like an endorsement for the Outrage X. Those can be found, but I heard they are hard to roll. Anyone care to comment on their roll-ability? I picked up an OutrageX in march this year, paddled it about a dozen times now. I picked a roll up quickly in it. I'm rather consistent in flat water & ...

Mad River ME

SOLD - Mad River ME, 1986 vintage, well seasoned classic white water canoe. This boat is set up for solo paddle, although easily outfitted for tandem paddling. This boat has seen it's better days, but has a lot of life left in it. I picked it up a few years ago after it was ravaged in an auto acide...

Re: Boat of the Week - Millbrook (and others) ME

I rock a MRC ME. Love it because I'm too cheap to buy something else, it's a classic that literally won't die.

Re: Advice on canoes please!

Although a number of members have emphasized the necessity of a life vest, i'll hit the topic again. When I first started paddling, I didn't feel the urgency of always wearing my vest. I valued it, dont get me wrong, but taking it off when I was in shallow water just didn't seem like a big deal. Aft...

In Abington, not exactly in your backyard, but figured I'd throw it your way if you didn't already stumble across the ad.

Re: What is a broken boat worth?

I bought an ME a few years ago for a hundred bucks - It was all but destroyed, 20 or more hours of hard labor & about another 100 bucks in materials produced a boat I trust, my Kevlar patches/West System epoxy is holding up very well and showing no signs of stress. I couldn't see sending a boat to t...
