Re: WTB Viper11 near Asheville, NC
Would consider other similar boats. Looking for a royalex boat for the wife. She's ditching the skirt and training blade.

Re: Question for Option owners
I put a piece of vinyl tubing in the tubular webbing to make a grab handle like the Savage boats used to have. Easier to get your hand into. I also did what Wendy did and drilled a hole for the painter just leaving a little sticking out and having the rest flaked out under the deckplate ready to dep...

Cascade C1, Asheville, NC
Went by Asheville Adventure Rentals tonight to get some airbags for the Everest I'm converting, and they had a Cascade C1 on consignment for $250. Had painters and a clam cleat on the rear deck. Knee straps were 2 seperate 2" fastex buckles, but had plenty of rings to adjust position. A couple of se...

Re: Outrage, Asheville, NC
I went by the shop and the boat is still there, but they said it's now sold. Somebody from Kentucky saw it on the internet.

Pyranha Everest C1 conversion pics?
I would love to see any pics anybody has of conversions of a Pyranha Everest. I just got a hull from a buddy, and am going to give it the fence rail style treatment. I found some pics of a Burn conversion from "gngrbeerd", but would love to see anything else in the interest of not reinventing the wh...

Outrage, Asheville, NC - SOLD
Yesterday, saw an Outrage on consignment at the new paddle shop on the French Broad River in Asheville, NC, Asheville Adventure Rentals. I think the consignment price was $800, but the guy in the shop said the owner might take less directly. The saddle was strapped in to pads and it had end bags and...

Boat Weight Ranges
So how about some opinions on weight ranges for different boats? And sure, you could jam a 300# dude in a Splash, but it just wouldn't be within recommended operating parameters. I'm interested in knowing at what weights certain boats start to "ride low" in the water, or conversely, "feel too big". ...

Re: class 2+-3+ boater
There were 27 on this trip including a few kayakers, but a majority were open boats with a couple C1's. Did anyone get video of my buffoonery at Lilly rapid? Last boat down.
