Oh I plan on getting a Plastic oc1 also and black fly canoes are in the running for that. I feel the sickness coming on now I am going to need three canoes. One for solo river running (a composite light fast canoe) One for creeking/park and huck (plastic) One for taking the kids and river trips (?) ...

I have been reading the older posts about kevlar canoes and keep seeing people talk about a kevlar Outrage was this a one-off thing or does Mad River make them upon request?

Yes it's not a lake canoe, The lake is to get the trim right and get them in the boat then I will take them on a stream, I have the Little Tenn and Tuck right by me. Thanks for you input.
My kids are small and they probably will be along for the ride for most of next season(one at the time).

Thanks for all the great and informative posts. I started a new job and had truck trouble at the same time. It all has ended fine my canoe purchase is now scheduled in the late fall.
