Re: C-1 Spray Skirt Needed

Snapdragon made me a couple of the old small cockpit cboat skirts for our Hydra Duet a few years ago - might
be the same size as your Fanatic rim - mine are not for sale. They’ll make whatever for you also if you send a tracing.

Re: River Elf Storm Chaser M - used - for sale

It is still available.

I believe it is full cut S/M but will have to check.

The saddle is in the 6-7” range as it slopes a little.

I’m not home today but can check this weekend if you are interested.

Re: Galasport CHOP SHOP 4m slalom boat alteration question

I can tell you what I did . My first cut was on a beat Fanatic C1. I figured where I wanted to cut off each end, and just cut it off, all the way around. I then shaped some foam to the shape I wanted, and laid up cloth (fiberglass and kevlar) over that, then sanded. The rear did well as cut with abo...

Re: Millbrook Hornet, Valley Mill Magnet, New Wave Acrobat for sale

Aargh, yes, the Acrobat came from you. I had a lot of fun it it for about 5 years or so I think. The Millbrook is a Hornet. I don't know what the layup is but it is not heavy - it weighs about the same as my River Elf Storm Chaser. Vann Evans had it built by Kaz and I think it is the standard Millbr...

Millbrook Hornet, Valley Mill Magnet, New Wave Acrobat for sale

All fun boats I’ve enjoyed but not getting enough use and time to pass on. Millbrook Hornet is in excellent condition. The fastest cruising c1 I’ve ever paddled - as fast as my Fanatic. Would be a great c1 race boat like for the Gauley Animal or for cruising. $600 Valley Mill Magnet is worn but ok c...

Re: Long Lost C-Boater wondering: what to paddle?

My observations as a 5'8", 180 lb 51 year old who has C1'd since a teenager but can't kneel as low as I used to. 1. River Elf Storm Chaser - nice and comfy but not fast. Great construction and a fun boat. One of few boats I bought new. 2. The Millbrook Hornet that I bought used is as fast as my old ...

Re: C1 & C2 Boating

Jim, it is great to get that glass Atom in use again. I test paddled it also when I purchased my Hornet from the same seller last fall. Mike W, I have a used Storm Chaser for sale should you be interested and yes it does surf well. It is a really cool boat but a little slow and soft-chined for my ap...

Re: Quality breakdown paddle

I have a 3-piece Werner bandit for my breakdown. Works well.

Likely no one would stock the 3-piece version of this paddle, but it is a regular item and any dealer can order one. It is slightly heavier than the single shaft but not a lot.

Re: Hornet and Magnet comparisons

I think the Magnet would hold weight equal to or better than a Gyramax. It is a pretty big boat for glass.
