Between watching these videos and this, http://vimeo.com/68476394" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, I've finally got my wife to realize the need for us to take a swiftwater course. Excellent videos, thank you.

Re: shaping minicell...

Band saws are nice if you have access to them when cutting larger chunks off a bun. I used a table saw for the same purpose as I didn't have access to a band saw. Result were marginal, kickback and grab made for excitement. Electric filet knives have their uses for some contours. 80 grit flap wheel ...

Sealing airbags

Has anyone ever used Toobseal, Flexseal or the Inland Marine internal sealant to repair leaking/porous airbags? These are products regularly used for inflatables/rafts to stop slow pinhole leaks, porosity issues and some seam leaks, for use on PVC, hypalon, urethane, etc. They are a thin liquid that...

Cboats, the cause of, and solution to, all your CBoating problems. Where else are you going to get advice and encouragement to drop seious coin on an amazing new boat but that simultaneously your new boat is woefully inadequate and must go under the knife for endless modifications? My wife was not s...

http://www.foamforyou.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - they have minicell (brand name I think) and microcell (same stuff, not brand name). The microcell is 4.5" thick and has a smooth skin on it from the molding process. It works and forms the same as minicell. Best pricing I cou...

Re: Those who put feet under the pegs, how do you stay in?

Craig's is the point I was trying to make on truckeeboater's thread. *IF* you fit into the bulkhead, then you should be able to keep yourself in the boat by pushing down on the foot braces with the balls of your feet. I use tall (4" or so) ankle blocks to make it easier to relax my ankles in this p...

Re: outfitting my Option

Timely topic. I have the same question about bulkhead fitting as well, only this applies to my Big Dog Force. I added more foam so that my thighs are further into the bulkhead, but still feel as if i'm lifting off the saddle. So much so that the next time I'm in the pool, i'm going to see if a suici...

Re: drysuit repair - Tear-Aid patches

I have used Tear-Aid on airbags with less than stellar results. It did repair the bag to the point where it would hold air again, but the repair lasted less than a weekend both times I tried it. Kyle Interesting. I've used Tear-Aid with excellent long term results on my Kokotat goretex dry suit. I'...
