ion reflections

so, i got to try out canoemid's ion today. my first impression: I'm buying one! so anyway, as a teen who weighs 110 lbs soaking wet, and 5'7", i was concerned about being too light for the boat- everyone else was asking about the upper weight limit, i was asking about the lower! anyway, that turned ...

Re: Need suggestions for C1 for a kid

i would not do an x- im about 115 lbs and have problems rolling it because it rides too high and tends to pop out and flop back on top of me when i go to roll. i can roll it on a high brace, but it takes practice and was very frustrating for me- just about sent me back to my kayak, as you said. it i...

ion opinions?

anyone have any opinions on the ion for someone 5'7, 115 pounds, and still growing?
seriously looking at getting one, and i think it will be a good boat for what im doing (cl. 3-4, both rivers and creeks) that i wont grow out of- probably going to be around 6'2 and 150 lbs.
Thanks,
Bob

a probe (12 for solo/14 for tandem/solo) would be a great boat for what you want- reasonably fasts, very dry, and easy to get where you want it, forgiving in case you dont.

Blackfly ion

So, I need a new boat. Ive been looking at the ion, and am very interested, so if anyone has one for sale or that I could demo, or any advice, it would be much appreciated.
