There are some open boaters in Bend. You might talk with the folks at Alder Creek there. Just getting into ww canoeing, looking for some folks to paddle with, none of my friends want to do anything besides float fish. If anyone else is in/around Harrisonburg, VA and wouldn't mind a relative newbie tagging along, i'd love to get out more.
