I got one made by skirtworks in november. Its really well made.

Can anyone give me some input on a Mystic as C1? I picked one up for a good price and i'm deciding if its worth my time to convert.

Comparison to a Stomper C1 or L'edge would be cool.

I'm a similar weight to you. Paddle a Stomper and absolutely love it. I don't have much to compare it to though.

How hard is it to wet exit from a c1? Not hard at all. But totally depends on your outfitting and comfort level. I have double straps, knee bracket thing and hip pads. Never had a problem exciting. Some people would argue that it is sketchy. Have to pull a skirt and strap quick release. All within ...

Also, I use a 58" paddle now, I'm guessing that would need to change? Shorter maybe? Yea. I use shorter for c1. Just base it off your saddle... That boat is the stomper. It's the only C1 that I've paddled so I don't have much to compare to. The only other boat I have paddled regularly is the L'edge. I can tell you how those compare?

Got to test it for two weeks in mexico. The insert packed in a snowboard bag with three paddles and a bunch of other gear. No issues flying it whatsoever. The concern about the back rest is valid. It's hard to tell from the pics, just make sure that there is no way it can hurt your back if you were pinned to the back deck with force.
