Re: Rare Whitesell Whirlwind in mint condition
I saw this boat the other day on nffb. Canoeman tells no lie. Word that came to mind when I saw it on the rack included, crème Puff, cherry, and unspoiled. Looks like she's been in a uv proof time capsule for twenty five years. Want a pristine piece of royalex ww history for half the price of a bran...

perception dancer 'youth' as a first cboat?
I found an old dancer 'youth sized' in lilac. $75 obo. My gut tells me this is the perfect platform for daddy daughter date nights for outfitting, and to take us well into the lake, class 1, class 2 neighborhood. So before jump I thought I would bounce this idea off of the c-nut gallery. Big gratitu...

...having strong doubts about massive folding and unfolding success. Maybe given the same type of soul and creativity that developed around royalex repairs. "Perhaps creative softening and welding etc etc etc" I have seen some pretty innovative things being done with a welding setup.

impulsive purchase: whitesell pirahna & paddling with kids
So I picked up this cool old boat. I am almost certain it is a whitesell 'pirahna'. It is set up for tandem and that is exactly what my aim was for our next boat. My plan is for it to be the vehicle which will assist in crafting high quality fun for our little girls, OC2 daddy time! Up to but deff. ...

Bob Foote boats?
I am interested to know if there is chronological listing of designs attributed to Bob. Also is he a member of the "c-boats" online community?

Would anyone mind giving me an idea what a dagger caption in immaculate condition might fetch in today's market? Thanks!

Thank you. I'll probably keep looking around, sounds a bit steep seeing that I am not in a hurry.

canoe blue book?
I've started looking into purchasing a boat for our family and have turned up an old 17' Grumman. The fellow is asking $475.00 USD and he said it lists for $950.00 USD. Not sure exactly where he has come up with a "list price". I thought surely someone here would know if this was valid. My hunch is ...

Re: Baby Falls
Just completed reading the boater talk thread. It was great. I'd pay close attention to Leland's comment as it corraberates the majority sentiment here but adds an important aspect. "Get rid of the hip thrust". This has been churning in my kettle for some time but it is great to hear from such an ac...
