Re: Did the L'Edge kill the Detonator?

My understanding was that the boat manufacturer could order the Royalex with extra layers in certain areas when needed. Is it indeed all the same thickness throughout, regardless? Ok, if I were to try to beef-up the chines, what materials and techniques would be the most successful? I'm sure a lot o...

Re: Did the L'Edge kill the Detonator?

I loved a Detonator to death several years ago. The chines ragged out so much that I gave up after patching them 7 times. For years, I tried several other boats but they just never performed like the Detonator. I recently bought a new one and couldn't be happier. The biggest problem with the Detonat...

Prelude

I'm curious. I have a Mobile Adventure Prelude. I understand that they sold the molds to Paranha, who rounded off the flat hull, making it a lot squirlier. How long has Esquif been making the Prelude. I've not seen that model listed on any of their litilature. Do you know if Esquif flattened the hul...

Lenoir City

I'm sure the Lenoir power structure would prefer we support the local carraige trade, BUT, where would you suggest those that wish to sleep in their trucks, trailers, tents, or on the ground do that without hassle, during the C-1 E-vent?

I have a "Prelude prototype". Actually a Mobile Adventure, which was the company that sold the model to Parana, before they rounded off the bottom. It is in good shape with plenty of custom foam and a electric pump. In Chattanooga TN. Could send pictures. Need $700. Jim
