Re: European Cboat Armada 2013, Berner Oberland, Switzerland

A little late but nevertheless: here's the direct link to my pics from this years Euro Armada But use the detour via the Euro Armada webpage (see link in Fez' post above), there's more to discover (infos, videos, more links)... It was good meeting old friends and making new ones. CU all (and more?) ...

Re: European CBoat Armada 2012

@ Sandie_

Next years armada will be based at the Simme afaik (which makes sense since the Simme has whitewater for everyone: from mild to reasonably wild). Matt is checking the available campgrounds, the club hut will probably be too small. All details will be posted in time...

Re: European CBoat Armada 2012

Right and wrong.

Right: it's an Edge from We-no-nah.

Wrong: it is manufactured again, at least in Europe. I know of a Swiss guy who has the mold and is laminating it.

Re: European CBoat Armada 2012

I haven't checked this forum for a long time (thanks, Angus, for reminding me ), but I will be at the Armada if everything goes as planned. I'm looking forward to it. By the way: I will be sticking around the Alps for the week after the Armada (May 21st to 25th), planning to join up with frien...

Seven weeks to go to the 6th Euro CBoat Armada, I'm looking forward to paddling with all of you again. Is anyone designing a poster again like we had last year? That would be grand. It should be ready at Easter time the latest so we could send one to Paul Villecourt who could hang it at the Open Can...

I was very impressed with the perfect organisation and the warm and friendly welcome we had at Gervanne Camping and the Open Canoe Festival Drôme. Thanks to all the helpers and workers who made that festival such a huge success. Close to 200 c-paddlers on the water, unfortunately never at the same s...

As I posted already in that other, older, thread: I'm coming. @ funkidreadz: Do we have that graphic as a poster? I'm attending the French C Boats Festival at the Drôme after Easter and it would be a good possibility to hang that poster for the French paddling community to see and notice. If not, co...

As usual I plan to come. It would be a bad paddling season without attending the ECBA.

But, as it was last year, I might be arriving Thursday night or Friday morning. We'll see.

Looking forward to meeting you all there at Imst.

Who else of the European (and international) community is going to come?

Raff, I look forward to meeting you there.

The Drôme region is very nice, easy paddling, stunning scenery!
