What is the Mohawk Shaman like to paddle?
If someone has experience with it, could they fill me in. I have paddled the Probe 12 and the Outrage, as well as the Ovation from that era. Stability, speed, manouverablity, etc. There is a used one for sale close by but I wouldn't get to try it. Thabnks.

Sunburst (1or 2) serial number SRA 1161 ?
I have found an old sunburst and am trying to determine it's vintage. It looks like a sunburst 2 to me but says sunburst on the logo. Any ideas? I have a picture but don't know how to post it here.

Mad River Caption /saddle placement / outfitting ???
I bought a caption and have a blow molded mad river saddle I am going to put in to use this boat for solo. Where do I position the saddle. ie. How far from the stern of the boat to my back? As well, the old style plastic saddles ... do you block the thwarts down from the gunnels or leave the thwarts...

Outfitting a solo tandem for an adult and a child ....
for learning .... Which would be best, a Vertige or a Prodigy X? I though one main saddle just back of it's normal position for a 130lb person, and one just ahead of normal for a 55 lb person. The front saddle could be olne of those north water adjustable ones that straps in on lash strips. Cheers, ...

I am looking for a larger OC1 for myself that I can get my wife and son to use to help develop their skills by outfitting it with removable saddles. As they are light even together and woul...

Prodigy X vs. Esquif Vertige ....
I am looking for a very tame OC 1 that I can paddle (200lbs) and that my wife and son can tandem (with strap in outfitting). There combined weight is 185. We would be paddling relatively easy class 2 plus / 3 minus. Would either of these boats work? And are they comparable. My experience paddling ha...

I have access to a Prelude hull. It has been gutted and has only a saddle which is not fastened in. The hull is not in bad shape. I need advice on how to outfit it. It is my understanding that not much sticks to the plastic. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, brentbeck@sympatico.ca P.S...

Any info on outfitting polylink ??
Anyone have experience with fastening d rings for thigh straps to polylink boats. According to Old Town the "polarizing process" which is basically heating before applying there adhesive really works. My success with trying to glue things to plastic boats has been not very good. Have others tried to...
